Jacob Luedecke began his numismatic career roughly 2 years ago at Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas. Starting as a customer service representative and quickly promoted to a Consignment Director, Jacob was specifically assigned to handle coin dealer’s accounts. This position afforded Jacob the ability to travel throughout the United States to both regional and national coin shows and helped him develop a well-rounded perspective of the precious metals and numismatic industries.
Jacob believes that the greatest takeaway was from his tenure at Heritage was discovering that the core of the numismatic industry is based on relationships; coins may exchange hands many times, but the relationships created and fostered are truly what help you along the road to success.
Prior to his time at Heritage, Jacob attended Abilene Christian University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Shortly after college, he began to pursue his passion of cycling and mechanics by working in several bicycle shops as a certified technician and racing in his spare time. Even though he no longer works in the cycling industry, Jacob still spends his spare time wrenching and riding.
Upon moving to Oklahoma and beginning work at Heartland, Jacob has consistently demonstrated the ideals of honesty and transparency in every transaction, developing relationships along with his personal and professional reputation. Excited at the prospects for the future of Heartland Rare Coins as well as the online bullion center Heartland Precious Metals, Jacob continues to study, learn and grow as one of the nations premier up and coming numismatic experts.
